This study explores the association between calcific aortic stenosis (AS) and compromised atrioventricular (AV) conduction. AS-induced calcium infiltration within the atrioventricular-His pathway is hypothesised to prolong AV conduction, potentially predisposing individuals to bradyarrhythmia and sudden cardiac death.
