Lynne Hunt is a PhD student and registered nurse at the Department of Cardiology, Royal North Shore Hospital, and the University of Sydney. With a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Sydney and extensive experience in cardiology nursing, Lynne’s research focuses on identifying and mitigating triggers of myocardial infarction (heart attack) to improve patient outcomes. 

Her PhD project, supervised by Associate Professor Thomas Buckley, Professor Geoffrey Tofler, and Dr. Melissa Riegel, aims to bridge the gap between research evidence and practical patient care by developing an evidence-based resource to help patients manage heart attack triggers and reduce their risk of future coronary events.
