Cameron Evans is a PhD student at the University of Sydney, currently enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the Kolling Institute, Royal North Shore Hospital. He holds a BSc in Medical Science from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), completed in 2020. 

Cameron’s research focuses on repurposing approved drugs in a novel topical formulation as a therapeutic for peripheral vascular disease.

Cameron’s work aims to improve blood vessel function and reduce amputations in patients with peripheral arterial disease and diabetic foot ulcers. 

His research is supervised by Prof. Gemma Figtree, A/Prof. Sarah Glastras, and Dr. Owen Tang
