Christmas came early for regular Foundation supporter 'JB', from Rouse Hill, New South Wales. Our delighted winner said she has entered lots of prize draws over the years, but never won anything. It was "a truly wonderful surprise". The winning ticket number was 5854.

 

Wii Fit prize draw winner

David Cascarino from Narellan Vale, New South Wales, was the winner of a Wii console and controller, and Wii Fit with motion sensitive Balance Board. The draw was open to supporters who registered by 18 December 2009 to receive email updates from the Foundation.

North Shore resident Jackie Tevanian won our $20,000 pre-Christmas lottery in 2008. As part of her spending spree, she decided to go shopping for heart research – donating money back to the Foundation.

 

‘I have been supporting the Foundation for a few years now because it's a worthwhile cause. But this was the first time I'd entered the lottery,' she said.

 

John Shaw, the Foundation's Director of Development, commented on her donation: 'Jackie sharing her winnings like this is a delightful surprise – we certainly don't expect it.'

 

Three lucky runners-up received $1,000 to spend on a Coles Group or Myer gift card: M. Cowie from St Marys, J. Flanagan from Glen Innes and Ruth Paton from Greenwich. Congratulations!
