- Norths Red Heart Day, Saturday 12 May 2012
The North Shore Heart Research Foundation is once again the partnering charity of the North Sydney Rugby Union Football Club. The Foundations partnership with Norths kicks off on 12 May with the Red Heart Day Rugby Match, when Norths meet Randwick at North Sydney oval for the fifth round of the Shute Shield. The traditional Norths’ Red & Black hooped jersey will be replaced by a special one-day “tribute” jersey, featuring the North Shore Heart Research Foundation’s Red Heart on the front panel.
So come along on the 12 May, watch some great Rugby, and support a cause close to your heart! At least three “tribute” jerseys will be auctioned live immediately after the game. All proceeds from the auction of the total 22 jerseys go towards Foundation supported heart research.
